Founded in 1921 by Gottfrid Eklund and Max Forslund in a small kitchen in Vasastan, Aroma has been crafting sweets with true Swedish tradition for over a century. What began as a hand-made caramel operation supplying small Stockholm shops has grown into one of Sweden’s few remaining confectionery producers still manufacturing locally.


Proudly Swedish-owned and Stockholm-based, Aroma is known for creating timeless favorites that have delighted generations—Green Frogs, chewy Rats, Raspberry-Licorice Boats, and Jelly Raspberries among them. Each piece carries the same dedication to quality, taste, and nostalgia that’s defined Aroma since the beginning.


With over 100 years of craftsmanship, Aroma continues to blend heritage and heart in every bite—keeping Swedish candy tradition alive, one sweet at a time.

Who is Lilla?

Lilla is created by Nic Jansson and Holly Berrigan, the team behind MYSA Natural Wine. Nic is half-Swedish and grew up spending summers in Dalarna, Sweden, where lördagsgodis (Saturday candy) was a weekly ritual. Lilla brings that tradition stateside—with better ingredients!
